Two day-long workshops the HKDC looked at a range of examples of editorial designs, with a particular focus on periodical magazine design. Drawing on his experience in periodicals, newspapers and books, Leslie discussed trends in editorial design taking place in the UK and used the workshops to compare Western and Chinese approaches to publishing.
